The Triumph NTC-690 is a heavy-duty tire changer built for the wheels that stop lighter machines cold: big truck, bus, tractor, and other industrial tires. Its robotic arm does the work, so a single operator can mount and demount oversized assemblies that would otherwise tie up a crew and a pry bar.
The machine is driven by a wireless remote control, letting the operator step back for a clear sightline and a safe stance while the tool does the work. The chuck clamps rims from 14 to 56 inches, and the NTC-690 takes tires up to 90 inches in diameter and wheels up to 42 inches wide, running on 220V shop power.
