Nationwide installer network

We'll line up the crew that puts it in.

You bought a serious piece of equipment. Getting it anchored, leveled and tested is its own job. Tell us where it's going and we'll connect you with independent installers who do this every week.

How it works

Three steps, and none of them are yours to figure out.

Tell us the details

Your zip, the model you're buying, and whether it's a home garage, a shop bay or a new build. If you have an old lift coming out, mention it.

We match you locally

We pull installers in your area who work on your type of equipment and send you their contact info, usually within one business day.

You book direct

You get your own quote and schedule it yourself. We stay on the equipment side: freight, paperwork, warranty, parts.

What a real install covers

The difference between installed and just assembled.

Scope varies by installer and by machine. Confirm what's in your quote before you book.

Anchoring to spec

Correct anchor pattern, embedment depth and torque values per the manufacturer's manual.

Leveling and shimming

The step that decides whether an alignment rack ever reads true. Slabs are rarely as flat as they look.

Hydraulic and air hookup

Lines run and routed, system bled, cylinders synced, leaks checked under load.

Electrical connection

Power unit tied into your service at the right voltage and phase. Some crews sub this to a licensed electrician.

Function and safety test

Locks, limit switches and a loaded cycle test verified before anyone puts a vehicle on it.

Old equipment removal

Most crews will pull and haul off an existing lift. It's a separate line item, so ask for it up front.

Choosing a crew

How to tell a good installer from a cheap quote.

Installers are independent businesses and the decision is yours, so here is what actually separates the crews worth hiring. Five questions gets you most of the way there.

Worth knowing: there is no national certification for lift installers. ALI certifies lift inspectors, not installers, so any company advertising a "certified installer" credential is describing something that does not formally exist. Judge them on insurance, references and years doing this specific work.

Ask every installer

  1. Can you send a current COI?General liability plus workers' comp, dated and current.
  2. Have you set this exact type before?A storage four-post and an alignment rack are different jobs.
  3. What's included, and what isn't?Get electrical, disposal and travel spelled out in writing.
  4. What's your trip charge policy?Ask before you book, not after a wasted trip.
  5. Two recent references.Good crews hand these over without hesitating.

Before you book

Sort these out and install day goes clean.

Nearly every wasted trip traces back to one of these four. Ten minutes now saves a trip charge later.

  • Concrete. Check thickness, PSI and cure age against the manual. This is the number one reason an install gets stopped at the door.
  • Ceiling height. Measure to the lowest obstruction, not the peak. Door tracks and lights count.
  • Power. Confirm voltage, phase and amperage. Most lifts want 220V, and a lot of garages don't have it yet.
  • Delivery first, install second. Never book a date before the equipment is on site, uncrated and confirmed undamaged. See our Shipping Policy.

Common questions

Straight answers.

Do you install the equipment yourselves?

No. We sell and ship equipment. Installation is handled by independent companies we can connect you with. They quote you directly and you pay them directly, which keeps their pricing honest and keeps us out of the middle of a job we are not on site for.

What does installation cost?

It depends on the machine, your region, site access and whether old equipment has to come out. We do not quote it, because guessing a number that an installer then has to beat helps nobody. Ask for two quotes if you want a sanity check on pricing in your area.

Do you charge for the referral?

No. We take no fee, no commission and no markup, and we are not paid by any installer. The introduction is free either way.

Are the installers insured?

Ask them directly and get a copy. Any established crew carries general liability and workers' comp and will send a current certificate without hesitating. If someone dodges that question, you have your answer. They are independent businesses, so their coverage is theirs to maintain rather than something we can confirm on their behalf.

Can they remove my old lift?

Most crews will. It is quoted separately from the install, and an anchored two-post usually means core drilling and patching the slab. Tell us up front and we will flag it when we make the introduction. Some crews will haul the old unit off and credit you the scrap.

When should I schedule the install?

After the equipment is delivered, uncrated and confirmed undamaged. Not before. Freight damage is the most common cause of a wasted trip, and installer trip charges are between you and them. A few days of patience here is the cheapest insurance on the whole project.

What if my concrete is not thick enough?

Usually fixable. The common solution is cutting out a section and pouring a properly sized and cured footer under each column. An installer can tell you what it takes once they see the slab. Check this before you order rather than after, since cure time alone can add weeks.
