Description

The Atlas Platinum PTC400 Tire Changer and PWB70 Wheel Balancer combo pairs an Italian-engineered swing-arm tire changer with a motorized spin balancer for the full mount, demount, and balance workflow. Together the pair handles rims from 10" to 26" on the changer and up to 30" balancing diameter on the balancer.

The PTC400 is a center-post swing-arm tire changer with a left-hand assist arm built to handle modern low-profile and run-flat tires. A 110V high-torque electric turntable, anodized aluminum bead breaker cylinder, and integrated bead blast system mount and demount tires up to 43 inches in diameter. The bead breaker is air-operated and requires an external air supply at 120–145 PSI. The included filter/regulator/lubricator (FRL) system, tire tool, lube bucket, and brush keep the workflow consistent.

The PWB70 is a computer-controlled motorized spin balancer with a laser line for weight placement, an LED light to illuminate the wheel interior, and a single-gauge automatic 2D data entry system. It balances rims from 10" to 30" at 130 RPM with 1-gram accuracy and a 7-second cycle time. Optimatch, FES (Fast & Easy Split), and Opposite Weight Function (OPF) modes simplify hidden-weight applications and match-mounting, and ALU-S plus standard ALU programs cover the range of alloy wheel weight placements. Static and dynamic modes round out the program list.

Both machines are built around Italian components, ship with a 2-year parts-only warranty, and remain serviceable for replacement parts and wear items.
