Description

The Atlas Platinum PTC600 + PWB90XL Combo Package pairs a tilt-back, swing-arm tire changer with a 3D video motorized wheel balancer in a single tire-service workstation built for professional tire dealers and large car dealerships. Both machines use Italian-engineered components and run on standard 110V power.

The PTC600 is a tilt-back tire changer with a pneumatic locking mount/demount head — the column tilts back and locks, lowering the risk of head movement during use. A right-hand assist arm handles bead pressing and bead rolling, the jaws and bead breaker are air-operated, and an integrated bead-blast system seats stubborn beads. External clamping reaches 27 inches and internal clamping reaches 29 inches, with a 43-inch maximum tire diameter, a 16-inch maximum wheel width at the bead breaker, and 6,924 lbs of bead-breaker force. The 110V electric turntable runs at 7 RPM. Air supply requirement is 120–145 PSI from an external compressor.

The PWB90XL uses Super Automatic 3D data entry — a single gauge captures rim offset and diameter, and touchless sonar measures rim width with no manual measuring arm. After the spin cycle, a laser line guides the operator back to the exact weight-application location, eliminating placement guesswork. Static and dynamic balancing modes are joined by Optimatch match-mounting, the FES split function for hiding adhesive weights behind spokes, OPF/OWF opposite-position weight placement, and ALU-S plus other ALU programs for alloy wheels. The high-resolution video monitor displays results in grams or ounces and millimeters or inches, with 1-gram accuracy and 1.4-degree weight-position resolution. An LED illuminates the wheel interior; the NWN (No Wheel Needed) system enables operation without a wheel mounted for diagnostic and calibration tasks.

Both machines carry a 2-year parts-only warranty. The PTC600 ships at 795 lbs and requires some assembly after delivery; the PWB90XL ships at 290 lbs and requires no anchor-down installation.
