The Katool KT-M140XD is a 14,000-lb symmetric 2-post overhead lift built for shops that service full-size pickups, work vans, and commercial fleet vehicles. The clear-floor configuration runs the equalizer cables overhead instead of underfoot, leaving the bay open for jacks, transmissions, and rolling tool storage. Reinforced industrial-steel columns and a direct-drive cylinder system carry the load, and a single-point release synchronizes the safety locks across both posts.
The KT-M140XD uses double S-shaped columns that distribute load stress more evenly than standard rectangular tube and resist inward flex when the lift is loaded. The hydraulic system is direct-drive — no chain: the cylinder pushes the lifting carriage directly through a steel cable, reducing moving parts, lowering noise to under 75 dB(A), and cutting routine maintenance compared to chain-driven designs.
With a 133.46-inch drive-through clearance and a 72.83-inch maximum lifting height, the KT-M140XD accommodates a wide range of vehicle widths and gives technicians vertical access for undercarriage, exhaust, and drivetrain work. Symmetric arms adjust to common lifting points on trucks, SUVs, and vans, and minimum pad height drops to 4.33 inches for lower vehicles.
The single-point lock release engages and disengages the safety locks on both columns simultaneously, keeping the lift level under load and reducing the risk of asymmetric drop during descent. Rise time runs under 50 seconds; lowering takes 20–50 seconds depending on load. The 4 HP power unit runs on 220V single-phase, 60 Hz service.
