Newstripe DragLite Infield Drag Mat
The DragLite™ Infield Drag Mat is a hand-pull or UTV-towable baseball infield maintenance drag combining a scarifying blade with a corded rubber drag mat in a single pass. The mat surface is constructed from 3/4″ reinforced corded rubber for grooming the infield mix to a finished, ready-to-play surface. An 11-gauge lead bar provides downforce for consistent contact across the working width.
The leading edge is fitted with an adjustable scarifying blade for breaking up hard-packed infield mix before the drag mat passes over the conditioned surface. The blade is a reversible planer with both smooth and serrated edges, allowing the operator to select the cutting profile to match surface conditions. Adjustment of cut depth is performed without tools.
Two sizes are available: the 3 ft model measures 36″ W × 24″ L, and the 6 ft model measures 72″ W × 24″ L and ships in two boxes. Both sizes support hand-pull operation by a single operator or attachment to a UTV or light tow vehicle via the host vehicle's existing tow point. The unit is engineered for baseball and softball infield maintenance and is not rated for rock removal, outfield turf grooming, or general landscape use.
