Newstripe PackMaster Air Powered Compactor
The PackMaster™ Air Powered Compactor is a pneumatic drum compactor engineered for 55-gallon drum compatibility, achieving up to 75% reduction in waste disposal volume. An optional 17″ ram plate (sold separately) extends compatibility to 30-gallon drums, supporting both standard industrial drum sizes from a single unit.
The compaction cycle completes in approximately 30 seconds at 100 psi supply pressure, with operation controlled via a joystick mounted on the lift arm. A two-handed safety lever is integrated into the control system, requiring simultaneous engagement to actuate the ram and keeping operator hands clear of the compaction zone during cycle execution. Loading is performed by placing the drum on the base and lowering the arm into position.
Compatibility is limited to non-hazardous compressible solids. The unit is not rated for glass containers, brittle or shatter-prone materials, sealed containers, or any waste stream containing volatile vapors or pressurized contents. A continuous compressed air supply at 100 psi is required for rated cycle performance; pressure below specification will extend cycle time proportionally.
