Description

Description

The Triumph NTC-950-2 is a tire changer built for the throughput of a busy shop. Its dual pneumatic assist arms hold the bead and guide the tire through the mount and demount cycle, which takes the fight out of the wide-profile, low-profile, and run-flat tires that resist a single-arm machine. A technician working alone gets a second and third set of hands on every difficult tire.

Bead setting is handled by built-in bead-blast technology: a concentrated burst of air fired into the sidewall that seats the bead and starts inflation on tires that won't take air with a standard chuck. A side-mounted bead breaker delivers 5,500 lbs of force to crack stubborn beads loose before the tire reaches the turntable. The machine runs on standard 110V shop power, and its turntable clamps wheels from 16 to 28 inches on the inside and 14 to 26 inches on the outside.

Features

  • Dual pneumatic assist arms: extra support for changing wide-profile, low-profile, and run-flat tires without a second set of hands.
  • Bead-blast technology: fires a powerful blast of air into the sidewall to set beads and start inflation.
  • Side-mounted bead breaker: applies 5,500 lbs of force to break stubborn beads loose.
  • Wide clamping range: 16-28" inside and 14-26" outside covers most passenger and light-truck wheels.
  • High capacity: handles wheel widths up to 15" and tire diameters up to 43".
  • 1.5 HP motor on 110V: runs on standard single-phase shop power.

Compatibility

Per Triumph's tire-equipment fitment guide, the NTC-950-2 covers passenger cars and half-ton, three-quarter-ton, and one-ton trucks across Load Range C, D, and E. It services 14"-24" and 16.5" wheels, sets run-flat tires, and handles motorcycle wheels with an additional adapter. It is not rated for box-truck, over-the-road, 19.5", 21.5", or implement wheels, those sizes call for a dedicated heavy-duty truck tire changer.

The NTC-950-2 is covered by a 1-year parts warranty (parts only, no labor). If something fails, you call Triumph, troubleshoot the problem over the phone, and the covered part ships to you free, both the part and ground shipping are at no charge. Labor to install the replacement is not covered.

Wear items are excluded: the plastic protective pads and tooling on the clamps, heads, bead breaker, and assist arms, plus the single tire-inflation hose, lube brush, and bucket.

FAQ

What power and air supply does the NTC-950-2 need?

It runs on a standard 110V single-phase outlet. The assist arms, bead breaker, and bead-blast function are pneumatic, so the machine also needs a shop compressed-air supply; maximum operating pressure is 120 PSI.

Can it change run-flat tires?

Yes. The dual assist arms are designed for run-flat, low-profile, and wide-profile tires, and Triumph's fitment guide lists the NTC-950-2 as run-flat capable.

Does it handle motorcycle wheels?

Yes, with an additional adapter, per Triumph's fitment guide.

How does it ship, and what do I need to receive it?

It ships on an LTL common-carrier freight truck (a 48-foot semi) with lift-gate service, so the driver lowers it to the ground at the rear of the truck. The driver does not move it into your shop or assemble it. You schedule the delivery appointment directly with the freight carrier. If you would rather pick it up, it can be routed to the carrier's nearest freight terminal for collection with a trailer or van.

Why Buy From Project Foundry?

Pro-grade equipment, real support, and a buying experience built around big-ticket gear. Here's exactly what you get with every order.

Project Foundry
Hassle-Free Freight Delivery

Most equipment ships by freight on a pallet. Here's what to expect: orders process in 1 to 2 business days, with typical transit of 4 to 7 business days. The carrier calls ahead to schedule a curbside delivery appointment, so keep a good phone number on your order. Liftgate service is included on many items. Large equipment like car lifts and attachments are too big for a liftgate and need a forklift or similar to unload. No equipment on site? You've got options: have it delivered somewhere that does, like a neighbor's place or your workplace, or have it sent to a local freight terminal such as Estes or Old Dominion, where you can pick it up with a trailer and their forklift loads it for you. Contact us to arrange terminal pickup. Inspect before you sign: note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing, and for concealed damage, send us photos within 48 hours to protect your replacement coverage. Questions about delivery to your address? Call or text 331-272-5655. Full details are on our Shipping Policy.

Free Warehouse Pickup

Many items are available for free pickup at our supplier warehouses, so you can skip freight charges entirely. Availability depends on the product and brand. Once your order is ready, we'll send written authorization with the location and pickup instructions, so please wait for that confirmation before heading out. Plan to pick up within 48 to 72 hours of the ready notice. Want to know if your item qualifies? Call or text 331-272-5655.

Authorized Dealer, Full Factory Warranty

We're an authorized dealer for every brand we carry. That means factory-fresh equipment with the full manufacturer warranty, never gray-market product from a random marketplace seller. If you ever need a warranty claim, we help you through it.

Heads up: the equipment world has its share of fake websites and unauthorized sellers pushing prices that are too good to be true. If you're ever unsure about a seller, reach out. We'll help you spot the red flags, even if you don't end up buying from us.

Flexible Monthly Financing

Spread the cost out with Shop Pay Installments. Break a big purchase into manageable monthly payments and get your equipment now instead of saving up for it. Select Shop Pay at checkout to see your options.

Price Match Guarantee

Found it cheaper from another authorized dealer? Tell us. We'll verify they're a legitimate dealer and do our best to match or beat the price. We don't match eBay or marketplace listings. Reach us at 331-272-5655 before you order. Full terms are on our Price Match Guarantee page.
