Description

The RiIKON 70-800 Turning System features tungsten carbide cutters that maintain their cutting edges longer than typical carbon or high-speed steel tools. When after hours of use an insert does become dull, you can simply rotate it to work with a new edge of the cutter. The 16" long, machined aluminum handle incorporates an anti-vibration grip that utilizes a unique forward chucking system. The finely machined shafts have bottoms milled with a flat and 2 side bevels for extra stability on the tool rest when turning. The bottom flat is in line with the cutter to maintain a flat position for scrape cutting providing the support and control needed, especially when turning bowl interiors where the cutter is extended out far from the tool rest. The two-sided bevel surfaces provide extra support when the cutter is shifted to an angled skew position for shear cutting action. Changing between shafts is quick and simple requiring no tools. Simply unscrew the knurled chuck collet to insert any of the three supplied steel tool shafts, tighten the chuck collar, and you are ready to turn! Each tool shaft is supplied with one of three carbide insert cutter profiles: a circle, square or diamond.
Turning Applications:

  • Circle Cutter – Very effective for finishing cuts on bowl interiors or any cove or contoured design on spindles.
  • Square Cutter – Straight edges on this carbide cutter make it extremely useful for shaping convex or straight surfaces. Ideal for producing tenons for furniture construction.
  • Diamond Cutter – Mainly used to add thin line details on turnings, the spear-point tip is great for undercutting and making small beads on projects. The long sides of the triangular shape are also useful for fine shaping of rims on bowls or plates.

Why Buy From Project Foundry?

Pro-grade equipment, real support, and a buying experience built around big-ticket gear. Here's exactly what you get with every order.

Project Foundry
Hassle-Free Freight Delivery

Most equipment ships by freight on a pallet. Here's what to expect: orders process in 1 to 2 business days, with typical transit of 4 to 7 business days. The carrier calls ahead to schedule a curbside delivery appointment, so keep a good phone number on your order. Liftgate service is included on many items. Large equipment like car lifts and attachments are too big for a liftgate and need a forklift or similar to unload. No equipment on site? You've got options: have it delivered somewhere that does, like a neighbor's place or your workplace, or have it sent to a local freight terminal such as Estes or Old Dominion, where you can pick it up with a trailer and their forklift loads it for you. Contact us to arrange terminal pickup. Inspect before you sign: note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing, and for concealed damage, send us photos within 48 hours to protect your replacement coverage. Questions about delivery to your address? Call or text 331-272-5655. Full details are on our Shipping Policy.

Lowest Prices Online

We keep every price at the lowest point the manufacturer allows, so you're always starting from the best price we're permitted to advertise. Want to do better than that? We offer additional discounts for new customers, holidays, veterans, healthcare workers, and more. Call 331-272-5655 for exclusive pricing. Paying by wire, ACH, or check? Take an extra 3% off, since we skip the credit card processing fee and pass that savings straight to you.

Found it cheaper from another authorized dealer? Tell us. We'll verify they're a legitimate dealer and do our best to match or beat the price. We don't match eBay or marketplace listings. Reach us at 331-272-5655 before you order. Full terms are on our Price Match Guarantee page.

Free Warehouse Pickup

Many items are available for free pickup at our supplier warehouses, so you can skip freight charges entirely. Availability depends on the product and brand. Once your order is ready, we'll send written authorization with the location and pickup instructions, so please wait for that confirmation before heading out. Plan to pick up within 48 to 72 hours of the ready notice. Want to know if your item qualifies? Call or text 331-272-5655.

Authorized Dealer, Full Factory Warranty

We're an authorized dealer for every brand we carry. That means factory-fresh equipment with the full manufacturer warranty, never gray-market product from a random marketplace seller. If you ever need a warranty claim, we help you through it.

Heads up: the equipment world has its share of fake websites and unauthorized sellers pushing prices that are too good to be true. If you're ever unsure about a seller, reach out. We'll help you spot the red flags, even if you don't end up buying from us.

Flexible Monthly Financing

Spread the cost out with Shop Pay Installments. Break a big purchase into manageable monthly payments and get your equipment now instead of saving up for it. Select Shop Pay at checkout to see your options.
